Van Wert, OH – Kennedy® was proud to be a part of the Grand Opening of the Village Workshop held in Northville, Michigan on February 28. This new creative resource for local inventors, engineers, entrepreneurs, artists, small businesses, teachers, students and others is on the former site of Belanger, Inc., a 140-year-old leader in car wash manufacturing. The community space is dedicated to creativity, learning, entrepreneurship, and prototype services.  It’s equipped with all the tools, machinery, staff and software to make bright ideas come to life.

The Village Workshop’s Grand Opening marks a new partnership with Kennedy®, providing the new creative communal workspace with essential Kpod working stations. This partnership and product embodies the vision of founders Dennis Engerer, Chris McDonald and Brian Donovan, “a place where people can make innovation happen.”

The Kpod is a custom new product first available for Village Workshop. These pods “portable office design”  provide secure, mobile work stations.

Vice President Craig Martin attended the open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony. “We are making an investment that is two-fold for our company. This allows us to educate and innovate with entrepreneurs and artisans. We are proud to be part of this community, by helping others build their ideas and dreams with our product.”
